Showing Your Home
After touring your home, we may recommend certain repairs and/or
improvements to maximize the appeal and marketability of your home. We will offer
you tips on things you can do to prepare your home for a showing, and what you
should do when buyers come to view the property.
Showing Appointments
Our agents will pre-qualify buyers before showing your home, saving you from unnecessary traffic through your home, and from time wasted in showing the property to people who may ultimately be unable to actually make the purchase.
For your security, all showing appointments will be made only through
our office or directly through your agent. This is a common practice in the industry.
No other agent should call you directly. They must go through our office to set
the appointment. If an agent shows up at your property without having made an
appointment through our office, contact us immediately.
Do not allow other agents or buyers to arrange showings directly through you. Always have them call our office to make the appointment. This is for your own security and the protection of your legal rights as a seller. It also ensures that there is a written record in our office of all your appointments, which your agent will use to follow up with the showing agent to provide you with feedback.
